Our engineers and designers specialize in the functional systems that reside in buildings, and have successfully implemented these systems in over 3,200+ projects nationwide, ranging in size from $75,000 to $1B. Over 90% of our work revolves around complex renovations of existing facilities, including historic buildings, with an emphasis on sustainability, energy efficiency, and conservation. Our overall mission is to provide professional engineering services that are complete, accurate, within budget, and meet even the most aggressive design schedules.

We utilize the latest technology, including REVIT MEP 3D Building Information Modeling, and quality control methods to ensure our clients receive accurate and well-coordinated construction documents.

Our team of 33 employees is dedicated to doing business based on three fundamental principles – honesty, integrity, and quality. We’ve created a positive learning environment that thrives on teamwork and a casual atmosphere.

Our History

After working for 10+ years in the MEP industry, Chris Kemp and Mike McGuire came to realize that there was a significant lack of firms focused on delivering quality engineering design. They sought to rectify this, opening AME Consulting Engineers in 2006. As the firm steadily grew, they brought Stephen Turner on board as Vice-President of Operations in 2013.

Today, we remain committed to that same exceptional quality, whether it is in the work we produce or the employees we hire. We believe our talented employees are what set us apart, and as such, we want to not only empower them to think like owners, but recognize their continued exemplary work on behalf of our clients.
